I met Grant Harris for the first time in October, 2012 as part of the Young African Leaders, International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) of the United States. What struck me at first was his calmness and the ease at which he enthused and shared his passion for seeing things work in Africa. I realized that this was not just because of his job function as President Obama’s Special Assistant and Senior Director for African Affairs. It was more of honest excitement on his part.
Enough about my thoughts. It is my pleasure to invite you to join Grant Harris on Thursday, 24th April, 2014 for a Young African Leaders Twitter Chat using the hashtag, #YALICHAT.
Here is a Twitter announcement by the US Embassy, Abuja, Nigeria.
